Real Estate Termite Inspections in WV, KY, & OH
At Alford Pest Control, we take pride in offering top-notch WDI inspection services to businesses and residents in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. With over 61 years of experience, we understand that buying a home is a significant financial decision. To provide you with additional peace of mind, we highly recommend getting a WDI Inspection Report before making that big purchase. This inspection is crucial in identifying and preventing potential wood-destroying insects such as termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, and wood-infesting beetles. These pests can go unnoticed for years, causing extensive damage to your property without detection. Trust Alford Pest Control for thorough termite and wood-destroying insect inspections that will protect your investment.
How Do WDI Inspections Work?
When you order a WDI inspection for the transfer of ownership, our trained inspector will visually evaluate the home, inside and out. Our inspectors are trained to look for any signs of current or previous evidence of these pests. Other structures on the property such as outbuildings, can be added to the inspection as well. A major benefit that we provide is our ability to provide on-the-spot treatment if necessary, following the inspection.
What Does a WDI Report Consist Of?
A WDI report will provide specific details of any findings of live activity, evidence of any activity, and any damage that may be visibly present at the time. If treatment is recommended, the report will also include a graph of the structure with the exact location of the pests or damage, as well as their treatment recommendations. The report also includes a section that addresses any areas that were obstructed or inaccessible to the inspector, therefore limiting the inspection. The termite reports for closing inspections are sent to the appropriate parties by our dedicated in-house customer service team to those involved in the closing process.
Let Our Experts Help
At Alford Pest Control, our technicians are licensed and trained to identify wood-destroying insect activity in a structure. We work closely with realtors to ensure that this important step in the closing process is seamless. Often, our technicians can complete a WDI inspection on the same day we receive notice of a need for one from our customer or their realtor. Reports can be emailed to any necessary parties or be accessed through your online customer portal.
